Birmingham, September 18–20, 2015

The conference is taking place on the Edgbaston Campus at the University of Birmingham.

Birmingham is easily accessible via its airport, Birmingham International, and two principal train stations, Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Moor Street.

By air

Birmingham International Airport is located very close to the city and has a convenient train service which takes about twenty minutes to Birmingham New Street.

Other airports in order of proximity are East Midlands Airport, Bristol Airport and Manchester Airport, which is located approximately 1 hour 30 minutes away. For the London airports, an additional hour or so must be taken into consideration for travel inside London.

By train

Rail travel in the UK is considerably cheaper if booked in advance. Scheduling information and tickets can be accessed through National Rail.

Inside Birmingham, Local trains connect Birmingham New Street to the University of Birmingham. The station at Birmingham University is simple called "University".

By coach

The Birmingham Coach station is located in the city centre. There is regular service to central London and London airports. The coach station is 15 minutes walk from Birmingham New Street.

By bus

Numbers 61, 62 and 63 travel from the city centre to the Edgbaston campus.

By taxi

A taxi from the Birmingham International Airport to the University costs about 35 GBP and a taxi from the city centre less than 10 GBP.
