Topics for week 4. In lectures we complete the prologue section "From register machines to C++" and start the main section on "C++ programming". (See the contents page.) Much of the initial part on C++ should be familiar and part of this will be revision, part will be about spelling out some extra details that were missed out up to this point.
The main topics are on loops and other similar structures in C++, and functions. These will be necessary for next week's SA4.
In Labs, you will be using C++ to complete SA3 on sequences. If time permits you will be able to look forward to SA4, which is the last of the "short" assessments.

SA3 is due at the end of the week. You can make a start on SA4 if you have completed SA3.
