Joint Research Group in the UK - LMS Scheme 3

META workshop

Analytical and Computational Methods for Multiscale Ecology

School of Mathematics, University of Birmingham, 18 December 2015

This meeting will be focused on various mathematical methods, both analytical and numerical, for spatially-explicit ecosystems with complex geometries. A broad range of mathematical techniques will be considered including partial differential equations, integro-difference equations, lattice models and networks. Special attention will be paid to hybrid models for multi-scale ecological systems and statistical inference for multi-scale data.
