The Galway Topology Colloquium was started in at the University College Galway, Republic of Ireland (now called the National University of Ireland Galway) by Dr. Aisling McCluskey and Professor Paul Gartside. During 2015 & 2016, the Galway Topology Colloquium was a one-day conference, attached to the Summer Topology Conference series. This year, it is returning to a 3-day format that provides a more relaxed and communal atmosphere.
