British Early Career Mathematicians' Colloquium

24th-26th June 2026

Conference PhotoParticipants at BECMC 2025.

The British Early Career Mathematicians' Colloquium is an annual event hosted at the University of Birmingham that aims to bring together early career researchers and postgraduate students in mathematics from across the country. This three-day event will be divided into parallel sessions, each with plenary speakers. The colloquium will additionally have contributed postgraduate talks, a poster session and social dinner.

Registration

Registration is now closed.

All postgraduate maths research students are heavily encouraged to submit an abstract for a short talk or a poster. This is a great opportunity to practise presenting in a friendly and open environment. For those that are planning to present at the BECMC, please see the following presentation guidelines.
