The Joint research group in tropical mathematics was formed in 2010 by researchers in the mathematics departments at three universities (Birmingham, Manchester and Warwick) with support of the London Mathematical Society.  Three meetings (workshops) are organised every year. Tropical Workshop in Birmingham will take place on Thursday 16 May 2013.
