Stefan Glock


Hello, my name is Stefan. I am a research fellow at the University of Birmingham. Before (2014-2017) I was a PhD student (at UoB) supervised by Deryk Osthus and Daniela Kühn . Between 2009 and 2014 I studied mathematics at the Technische Universität Ilmenau. My research interests lie in Extremal Combinatorics, Design Theory, Graph Theory and Probabilistic Combinatorics.

Lecturing


In Spring term 2018, I taught the 4th year course `Advanced Topics in Combinatorics A'. The syllabus comprised Ramsey theory, aspects of partially ordered sets and intersecting families, as well as matchings and colourings of hypergraphs.
